YES! Of course! We'd love to welcome new people to the PTA and no, it's not 'cliquey'. We're all just mum/dads/carers/teachers of kids at the school.

We're all busy with jobs and usual life stuff but we enjoy getting involved, no matter how small or big. It really helps when there's lots of people giving a little time, rather than just a few ending up doing it all.

PTA-Events is a FREE communication platform used by more than 1,200 PTAs, charities and organisations. PTA-Events will help engage our parental community with a website designed to make life easier for our organisation, school office and parents.

 

 

 

 

 

 

As a parent, you will be able to see what the PTA are up to, purchase any fundraising items we offer and volunteer for tasks. We will also share copies of our letters and meeting minutes, details of companies that have donated to us and lots more.

By using PTA-Events, we can now take online payments for our events via Stripe. This means there will almost zero physical tickets issued; instead we can produce a list of all the children that are booked on to an event to confirm attendance. It also allows the PTA to be environmentally friendly as we can now make our events almost paperless.

We will continue to send information via ParentMail and update our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/stjohnspta), but the PTA-Events site allows us to do so much more.

Yes. Please ensure you print your tickets so they can be scanned on entry to the event. Each ticket has a unique QR code on it which identifies you. We use sophisticated scanning technology which seamlessly synchronises scanned tickets to a central database. This way we can ensure that tickets are not fraudulently used multiple times and therefore we can keep your ticket price down.

If you purchased products that showed a QR Code you should have received an order confirmation email from St Johns Primary School PTA using the following email address: .

In the email is a PDF attachment containg all your tickets. Unfortunately, the IOS mail app has issues rendering PDF’s so although you can see an attachment icon you can’t actually see the PDF. You can download a copy of your tickets from the "My Account" section of the website or alternatively, download the email to another device as you’ll need to print them off to be scanned on entry.

Yes you can, although as a committee we are trying to make things simpler and more efficient to run and administer events/fundraising. Therefore we would very much appreciate if you were able to pay online. Not only does this save time taking the money, counting, banking it etc, it also erases the possibility of monies being misplaced, tickets getting lost etc.

Details will be given for each event how to pay by cash/cheque. Look out for details.

 

 

There could be many reasons why you didnt receive an order confirmation email from us.

Firstly, please first check your spam or junk mail folder to check it hasnt been filtered in there.

Secondly, please ensure you add to your contact list or safe sender / white list.

Finally, if you are using an email service provider such as Hotmail or AOL please be advised that they restrict the volume of messages that can be received from a sender and therefore you should download your tickets from "My Account" section of the St Johns Primary School PTA website.

 

 

PTA-Events Ltd take security of data very seriously. They are registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office). The website is secured using SSL technology which allows sensitive information to be transmitted securely. PayPal also use SSL to secure the connection between the clients browser and their website when paying for purchases. PTA-Events also use Cloudflare Web Application Firewall (WAF) to further enhance their security.

You have the right to have your personal data erased.

Date To be forgotten You will be able to enter the date that you no longer need to interact with the PSA.

Terms and conditions/privacy policy To enter into a contract, you must agree to the terms and conditions and the privacy policy during the registration process

 

Only PTA Committee Officers are authorised to access the admin section of the PTA-Events platform. The information will only be used for the purposes that you intended when entering it, for example if you have purchased a disco ticket, we will not contact you about any other event. However, on occasions it will be necessary to pass certain information on to other Committee members.

Reasons include, but are not limited to, distributing purchases to classes/children, confirming event attendance or ensuring our First Aider is aware of any medical conditions.
